Apparently, if you type a password wrong it does stay at the "Verifying Account" message. I will look into this.

The shard is working fine, but I do see a number of attempted logins from your IP address with an invalid password. Be sure you type the password for the account exactly the same as when you created the account. It is case sensitive.

I'm researching the field spell issue, but so far it looks like that they did indeed interrupt meditation and revealed if hidden when someone walked through them.

As for ogre lords, well, they do occasionally have some magic items on them.

NPCs that do not have merchant guilds will no longer discount their goods to players who are not a member of a merchant guild.

Yes, only the thieves are picky. The rest just want your money. Since you apparently became a member without paying, the merchant guilds have asked me to look into this serious matter.

NPCs do not have any skill requirements for you to join their guilds, only that you request to join and pay their membership fee (however, you can only be a member of one NPC guild at any given time). They certainly shouldn't be enrolling people into their guilds automatically. I will look into this...

I don't know if this is related but if I'm in war mode the hiding skill will put me in peace mode automatically and I don't remember this being the case previously.

Yes, I saw that other shard - I wasn't too happy about that. I don't know if they're still around or not though. Advertising on the "top game list" sites didn't seem to do much at all. I'm not sure how people are locating shards. Perhaps if I knew how the existing players found this shard....

This is a client side problem. Usually this occurs if Razor can't locate your client or you're using a client version that's too old.

We found that these listings got us more spam than players so I stopped dealing with them. We are, however, listed on UO Gateway, but I don't think they have the capability for voting yet.

It appears to only affect melee weapons (including fists/claws). Apparently there's a glitch in yesterday's patches. I will look into it.

I've been monitoring the shard and the saves have been occuring on schedule so far. Please be aware that the shard does a save every night at 3:00 am PDT (GMT -7, returning to PST, GMT -8 on November 1st) after which the shard remains running for half an hour before a restart occurs at 3:30 am.
