For some reason, no mana is used when cast a spell. I discovered this when i was successfully casting earthquake.

Thanks! I'm also having trouble gaining in inscription. I've reached 59.2 and stuck. I easily make the level 6 spells and have been through over 100 scrolls and the reagents to make the spells (making 3 of each repeatedly) without one single gain. I was gaining fine before the meditation was fixed and was wondering if any changes had been made to inscription. If it's just a matter of getting over a snag, i'll continue. Otherwise, nobody can afford this skill.

I just tested inscription at that skill level and was able to gain 1.5 points using just 200 scrolls. Perhaps you've just had a streak of bad luck. Make sure the skill isn't locked and you have available skill points.

Thanks. I did test it and got a gain immediately. Almost 200 scrolls without a gain is some really bad luck. I won't bother you again.
